What is working Equitation?
Working Equitation is either a Three or Four phase competition involving a Dressage Test, Ease of Handling Course, a Speed course and a Cattle phase.
How do I become a member?
Go to the Nominate website and find the 'Join a Club' page. Find Mid NNorth Coast Working Equitation and enter your details. Membership fees are $35 for the year starting in January.
Where do you meet?
Taree Showgrounds at least once a month. We also host clinics, protocol days and an annual competition.
Do you have a social media page?
Yes, you can find us on Facebook for regular updates!
Do you cater for all horses and riders?
Yes! We are a friendly club and try to provide a range of activities at our training days. You are able to bring young horses and lead them around obstacles.
In competitions riders are catered for in levels from Lead line through to Masters.
Where can I find more information about the sport?
Working Equitation is a sport that originated in four countries: Italy, Portugal, Spain, and France, with the first International competition being held in 1996. We are affiliated with ANWE so please refer their website for rules and tests. You can search Working Equitation on Youtube to watch videos of the sport.
